We just put out a fresh batch of special editions, FairyLoot exclusives, signed copies, sprayed edges, and other assorted objects of bookish temptation.

These are limited, some are hard to find, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. So come browse the new arrivals before another book goblin with faster reflexes gets there first.

Looking something to do tonight? Check out HAYNIE"S CORNER FIRST FRIDAY!!

We will be out on the wiffleball field with vintage Mass Markets, kids books and lots of other book-related merch to celebrate the art of writing and encourage literacy! We also will have local author Mark Rigney with us signing his book "Vinyl Wonderland". Come hang out, support Evansville's Art District, and hang with your friends!

This 812 DAY, "Evansville's Book District" (which we just made up) is going all out! This is a FREE event full of all kinds of family friendly interactive experiences! We will be there with all kinds of different stuff, including on lots of kids books and kids games!!

Back to School Special!!

Back to School is a little bittersweet for us this year since we left Main Street. We have been a safe space for the SIG kids since our doors opened. It's been great watching these kids grow up, something we will remember forever.

Come through the store between Wednesday and Sunday and take advantage of our sale. And as always, when parents get their required reading list, shoot us a message. We give a price break for students ordering all their books through us.

Free Concert at Vann Park Thursday Night!
We are HUGE supporters of Music in Park and tomorrow night is one of favorite shows of the series! Vann Park is Georgia Funkadelic's home park and this is their second year performing. Pack your coolers, throw your folding chairs in your car trunk, and come hang out with us!

In life, everyone needs three things: a butcher, a baker, and a candle stick maker. We have a butcher down the street, and you know we love , but now our search for a candle maker has ended!
We are pleased to announce that we are carrying Blackford Grove Candles that are made EXCLUSIVELY for Your Brother's Bookstore.

Blurb from the maker/owner: "Hi! I'm Breyanna, the maker behind Blackford Grove. Every candle is hand-poured in downtown Evansville and made from locally-sourced, sustainable materials. When not in my studio blending scents, you can usually find me with my nose in a classic book."

We originally met Breyanna at the Market on Main and once we found out she is a booklover, everything just fell into place. Next time you're in the store, give her candles a sniff. She's put a lot love and thought into each candle that really set her apart from the rest!
