I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009.I had a bilateral mastectomy and no longer had any use for my bras. I just couldn't give them away either.It's like I had to go through a grieving process first.So I made them into hats--don't know why but it has given me closure.My dream has been to offer that closure to other breast cancer survivors .I can take one of their no longer usable bras and tra

nsform it into something beautiful.That would give me great satisfaction and joy. Another reason I started Torn Edges Emporium is because I like the experience of creating --it's exciting and relaxing at the same time.
