I try not to bash vet or ERs as sadly the whole state of vet care has declined and is ridiculously expensive... but given the amount of time we spend utilizing ERs we have a lot of experience. Without going into detail feel free to message directly this is a direct warning to avoid Red Bank in a hillsborough. My experiences there have ranged from mediocre to poor but sometimes we are in a jam and just go to
the first alternative. We used them recently again and the level of care - mediocre and the vet on duty's priority was the estimate...not the comfort and care of the cat. We lodged a complaint and nothing was resolved or changed...they clearly have an interest only in billing, not the animals need or the experience of the client. We will not use them again. Just a heads up. VEG is new ER opened recently on Rt 1 in Princeton, while expensive like every other ER the experience we've had there was definitely better.
