It’s always a super cool event (amazing visiting speakers/fun activities for all ages/cool merch/all proceeds donated to Seacoast kids and families in need) and this year marks the 65th anniversary of the Barney and Betty Hill abduction! 👽

We are so honored to have received the SAU16 Community Partnership Award! We love working with our schools, from bringing authors for free presentations to the students to helping librarians and teachers fill their bookshelves. We are so honored to be invited into the wonderful schools in this SAU and to be able to share our love of reading with the next generation. A big thank you to our kid's bookseller/buyer/event planner, Jill Sweeney-Bosa for everything she does. She makes the magic happen! Check out the photos from some favorite school author events over the years.

The Library is devastated to learn of the passing of Dolly Parton, not only a talented musician, but also a true titan of children's literacy. Her Imagination Library has received multiple Library of Congress Literacy Awards and, in 2018, Dolly visited us to donate the program’s 100 millionth book to our collection. She even hosted story time. 🦋❤️
