❤️ SOME PARTNERSHIPS GO FAR BEYOND BUSINESS. THIS IS ONE OF THEM. ❤️
As we get closer to Fair Play Fun Day, there is one partnership we have been especially looking forward to talking about.
Stor-Mor Portable Buildings.
You have seen their name beside ours. You have seen their logo on our event materials. You know they are helping host and majorly support Fair Play Fun Day.
But what we want our community to understand is that this relationship means so much more than a logo, a sponsorship, or doing business together.
Stor-Mor has been one of the most important partners in the growth of CS Structures. And behind that partnership is a man who genuinely wants to see people succeed.
Darren Warren.
There are people you meet in business who simply do business with you. And then there are people who believe in you. People who encourage you to grow. People who celebrate when you succeed. People who want your family, your employees, your customers, your community, and even other businesses around you to do well.
That kind of partnership is rare, and it is something we are incredibly grateful for.
Darren and the Stor-Mor family have supported CS Structures as we have grown, but what we admire most is that their desire to help others does not stop at business.
It reaches much farther.
❤️ It reaches all the way to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
For Stor-Mor, St. Jude is not simply a charity whose name they chose to put behind, it is personal... Very personal.
There is an incredible story behind Darren’s connection to St. Jude, and while we could write every detail here, we don’t want to.
Because Darren will be joining us at Fair Play Fun Day, and we hope you will have the opportunity to hear some of that story directly from the man who lived it.
What we will tell you is this:
As a teenager, Darren became a patient at St. Jude. Today, he is a survivor.
That experience eventually grew into something much larger. It became a mission shared by the entire Stor-Mor family.
Since beginning their organized fundraising efforts in 2021, Stor-Mor employees, dealers, drivers, vendors, customers, partners, and communities have come together to raise well over $800,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
And they aren't stopping there.
They are now on what they call their Road to a Million, working toward more than $1 MILLION raised for the children and families of St. Jude.
Years later, he helped build a company that is now helping give that hope back to thousands of other families.
That is one of the reasons Fair Play Fun Day benefiting St. Jude means so much to us.This event didn't come together because one company decided to throw a party. It came together because people and businesses who care about their communities decided to work together.
Stor-Mor has stepped up in a major way to help make this first event possible. They believe in what we are trying to create here in Fair Play:
A place where families can spend time together.
A place where small businesses and makers can be seen and supported.
A place where people can laugh, eat, shop, listen to music, watch their children play, meet their neighbors, and simply enjoy being together.
And at the same time…
A place where all of that fun can help someone else.
❤️ That is community.
Business is important. Buildings are important. Growth is important.
But people are what matter. Families matter. Children matter.
And sometimes the greatest thing we can build together isn't something made of wood or steel. Sometimes we're building hope.
We cannot adequately thank Stor-Mor Portable Buildings and Darren for the friendship, partnership, encouragement, generosity, and belief they have shown CS Structures.
They have helped us grow. They have helped us believe bigger.
And they are now helping us create an event that we hope becomes something very special for this community.
