Took a little break today from hides and beads, and went to check out the berry patch. Evee did not like walking around in the woods. I had to pick her up and move her to the blueberry bushes. Many berries on the ground and they are soft. I loved being out…💫⭐️🫐🫐🫐 I love the colors of fall!!🍁🍂🧡 What is your favorite season?

Beaded belt/head or hat band on smoked brain tanned moose hide, silver salmon circle. Size 11 & 15 seed beads. Edged with natural ruby and goldstone beads, dangles have Dentalium shells and Swarovski crystals. Will be at AFN in October.

Taking a pause to think about the fill work on this piece. Using size 11 seed beads. The smoked brain tanned moose hide is easy to bead on. It is 2.5”x20”, which makes it a possible regalia headband or belt piece.

Spending time with the beads. Had fun putting this bracelet together with the small seed beads. The orange drops are so perfect. Was fortunate enough to get a table at the Alaska Federation of Natives Convention in October. Need to build beautiful pieces for the event.

Happy! 🫎This moose came from the Nenana area, fall hunting. It has been brain tanned and smoked. It is on the thicker side and has a few small tough spots. The super thin sections were trimmed off and used to patch the holes. So happy to see it through the process.
