We're almost to the end of our Q3 Quarterly Giving Fundraiser! We've been raising money for the FNSB School Lunch Program to ensure that kids are able to eat hot meals all year long.

BIG Shout out to Kit from Integrative Care for her willingness to donate $1000 to our goal!! This means that we'll be matching $1000, and also sending over whatever you all raise by the end of this month.

One of the things we love about owning our building is getting to make little improvements that feel like *us*. 🌱 First came the CONNEX for more storage, and now we’re adding something a little prettier—a patch of native Alaskan wildflowers to help feed our local honey bees. 🐝

These little beauties came from St. Isidore Farm in North Pole, a second-generation flower farm who only grow native flowers. They grow flowers for seed, so you can have your own little patch of wild beauties at your home! Native plants are great - they work better for our pollinators and they require less water and care, and they're more apt to survive our winters. If you want to create your own little patch, stop in and grab seeds from St. Isidore.

Woof, is it just me or did we literally blink and say hello AND goodbye to summer?

While the season is definitely winding down, we're not done yet. We still have fresh lettuce, broccoli, and cauliflower that didn't get frost nipped (insane to say that in August - which I know it's not, but the frost was!), and of course we have...

CARROTS!

Not just any carrots, but THE carrots.

Which, unfortunately, is also a sure sign that winter is right around the corner, but we're ignoring that fact for now.

Our next carrot drop will be this Friday at 10 am. We hope to see you there!

Please note that for this week and possibly next week, we're limiting sales to 10 lbs per person. This is simply to ensure that everyone gets what they need while the demand is high. By next week or possibly the week after, we'll be able to either raise that amount or get rid of it all together. Thank you for understanding!
