Skybluepinkvintage&more Since my retirement from 35 years of teaching, I have become very passionate in scouting out vintage items to repurpose and rehome.

My husband, Bob, has become a willing partner in this adventure. He is the best loader, hauler, unloader and fixer-upper. He has also developed an eye for items that need a new home. We are hoping that soon his sister, Annette, will be joining us on some of these adventures as well. I have set up this page to document the treasures we find. This makes it easier for me to let go of these great find

s and not have to keep them all for myself. I know that in the future I can look back on the pictures with fond memories and our daughters' fear of us becoming hoarders will not become a reality. If you happen to hear of barn sales, estate sales or auctions in the area, please let us know. We love adding to our inventory. We sell at local flea markets but if you see something on this page that interests you, please let me know. Also, contact me if you are looking for a particular item and I would be happy to keep that in mind for you while I am on my hunts and picks.

We came across a very sweet deal on
Saturday - 4 Heywood Wakefield tables. It’s not often when a pick comes to us. The tables are in great condition. I cleaned them up this morning while it was still cool. They are all ready for the Springfield Extravaganza, Sept. 15-17, space 484B.

Finally the walls and ceilings have been painted and one of the corners in the great room is done.
A friend gave us the poster on the right and another friend gave us the MCM lamp and two Danish lounge chairs - one is Selig and the other is Dux. I had replacement cushions made for the chairs.
Bob was born in Copenhagen and has family in Denmark so it just seemed right to make a corner grouping with these cherished gifts. I just added a side table from Amazon and the poster on the left. 🇩🇰

Phase one of our ‘en-suite’ renovation is complete. It was difficult to get pics without any reflections. Thanks to Bath Masters in Fairborn for doing a wonderful job.
Phase two will begin with new ceramic tile on the floor then new drywall for the walls. This phase will take longer than the first one. Patience, patience.

Demo Day #2. Today work begins on a new walk-in shower in our ‘ensuite’ (🤣).

This all began with Bob replacing faucets on the sink and later discovering pipes behind the custom built-in vanity were disintegrating. I didn’t think to take a pic before Bob ripped out the vanity so plumbing could be repaired.

Part of the wall beside the shower will be removed to make it larger. After the shower is complete, Bob will replace everything in the rest of the bathroom.

We’re waiting on painters to come so we can complete the renovation after the removal of the wall between our family and living rooms. Projects take a lot of waiting and patience. It will be so nice when everything can be put back where it belongs!
