Our 2026 event season is a wrap! As usual, we have barely any photos to prove it ~ but we served thousands of customers of all walks of life across Iowa and beyond!! Your satisfaction and enthusiasm are our greatest reward and we are thankful for every one of you who purchased a shave ice (or five 😉😋) from us this year.

We did a small batch of spiced apple that didn’t make the lineup pictured here, but otherwise this is our current, slowly expanding flavor menu! 🥰 I’d love to hear what your most favorite combo is. I know, I know, this is a very hard question 😂

PS: let me know if you want some bottled syrups! (herbal flavors only - 4 or 8 oz) My favorite ways to use them are as a flavoring for sparkling water and in warm frothy oatmilk ~ perfect for fall!

PPS: I literally almost forgot that although our event season is over, you can still get your fix at the one and only SCREAM Ice Cream Shop ice cream shop on the Fairfield square. 🍧 so come on down!

We’re home after a sweet weekend at Convergence Wellness Campout 🌀 thanks to all the organizers, performers, facilitators, and friendly faces we had the pleasure of serving. We loved each and every one of you and are greatful for your support! 🫶

PS: we lost track of how many times we heard “this is the best shave ice/snow cone I’ve ever had” and that’s the biggest compliment we could receive ☺️

Big moves for a local favorite! 🍧✨

Ursula, creator of Snow Nouveau Botanical Shave Ice, is taking her business to the next level. Blending her Big Island Hawai'i roots with her background in Sustainable Living from Maharishi University, she’s elevated traditional shave ice into a botanical dessert experience — crafted with organic herbal and fruit syrups. 🏝️

After two years of pop-ups throughout the Midwest, Snow Nouveau now has a permanent home inside Scream Ice Cream Shop's new spot on the Fairfield square! (Shoutout to fellow Kiva borrower, SCREAM! 🤝)

Ursula will continue running her mobile booth for events while serving up her signature eco-friendly, artisan treats on the square. 🌿🌺

Congratulations, Ursula! We’re so excited to see Snow Nouveau grow. 🤩
