There is a feeling I get every time I approach Sleepy Hollow — something almost magical. The grandeur of the property, its rich history, its majestic spirit, and the beauty of the landscape create a sense of wonder before you even walk through the doors.
For Julia and Connor’s wedding, I wanted to translate that feeling into an intentional design experience every guest could share from the moment they arrived.
Claude Monet’s art and ability to capture the beauty and movement of nature became an important inspiration of the design.🪻 I wanted the florals to feel as though they belonged to the landscape — enhancing what was already there and allowing the natural beauty of the property to remain part of the story.
Every element of the entrance was designed to reveal another layer of the day, inviting guests to slow down, take it in, and become part of the experience.
For me, that is what immersive design is all about — creating a feeling before you ever see the details. It’s about taking what a place already gives you and finding a way to make that feeling even more powerful. 🩵✨
