On WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21st at 6PM, master poet Jeanie Thompson teams up with Grammy Award-winning musician Larry Mitchell for special music project based on her award-winning collection of verse, THE MYTH OF WATER: Go Into Your Life. Thompson’s new work recasts eight poems into songs, telling the amazing story of author/activist Helen Keller and her native Alabama. This unique pairing of poetry and song captures the love, loss, and longing of Keller’s experience.
