Does your teen show a desire for leadership and public service? The Fairhope Junior City Council could be a perfect place for him or her to serve! The JCC exists to serve as the youth’s voice in the City while introducing members to City government and its processes.

Applications for the 2023-2024 Fairhope Junior City Council (FJCC) will be accepted August 1st-31st.

Members are expected to attend City Council meetings when necessary to observe government in action. The FJCC also makes various presentations to the City Council during work sessions each years. Members also serve as a youth outreach arm of City government, engaging youth through projects throughout the City.

The group’s 10 members will be appointed by the Mayor and a committee of community and City professionals.

*All applications and supporting documents should be returned to Fairhope City Hall, with attention to Courtney Harville, or emailed to [email protected] by August 31st, 2023.

Customers and students. We will be closing at 3:30 and re-evaluating over next weekend as recommendations come from the CDC. Most of our students have cancelled lessons but this is for the few that haven’t. We are sorry for any inconveniences this may cause. Please check back for updates. We hope all of you stay safe during this crisis and the end comes very soon. Thank you for your continued patronage. The management!
