Just a friendly reminder to those that have been using the after hours bait to kindly make sure you are paying fully 😊 I understand you may not have had the correct amount on you or didnt want to use the PayPal QR code but please settle up. Again everyone will question me on this and want the other photos. However I want to give people the chance to fix a mistake yet I have seen a up tick again. Like stated before the camera can see the coins being placed in the box so its easy to count. 😉 (doesn't look great in a photo of a screen)

As for the 95% that have been using the system with no issues thanks ! Its just a easy way to provide bait while I am not here. Plus it does show that Fairmont is a great place 😉

If there is ever an issue with the fridge just let me know. As being honest once in a great while the bait does go bad. We do rotate it for the most part daily. I will also stock it extra after the holiday as the hours will change during the week.

A little out of the realm of fishing even though I met this amazing family due to fishing and the baitshop. Any how they are opening their new business in town. Kick Start Martial Arts is officially going in to the Mall. They currently own an award winning Martial Arts studio in Eagan. So excited that the Sisk family will be calling Fairmont home.

I know there will be some pretty upset people just remember I already heard it and complaining to me wont help you a bit😅 However there are a ton of changes to Hunting in our area. Some maybe good some maybe bad I didnt make the rules.

First off if hunting in Martin Co you will not need to enter into a deer lottery for a Doe. You can harvest 1 deer either s*x. Again this is for our area. You will have to research other areas if that is where you are hunting.

If you hunt west of Highway 15 that area is 252 east is 253. Yes Highway 15 is the divide line. I included a clip of the map or you can use the link I will provide to access the MN DNR site to look yourself.

This year Martin co and a few other counties voted to allow legal rifle hunting of deer. Again like everything know the laws if you are going to be using a rifle. Also be smart enough to learn what rounds should be used to ethically harvest a deer. I want to say more but better not 😏

Lastly for this post our Local DMV and looks like Walmart has officially decided to set up a computer to help folks buy a lic ? Sorry at this time it still isnt in our best interest to do so. You are also encouraged by the MN DNR to use their app or website to simply buy your lic online. After you get your account setup I promise you it is as easy as ordering on any online shop.

Just a friendly reminder that change is coming ! Starting next week we will changing back to Fall and Winter Hours. Yes we will be open on Labor Day all day ! However after that it will me Mon - Fri 3pm - 6pm and 8am - 6pm until November ish.

I will make a separate post about license as that has been a hot topic this week.
