I just wanted to let everyone know we got an update on Princeton boy today.
He is stable and slowly recovering, as to be expected. He is weak but showing a strong will to live. Our spunky little boy is a fighter!
We will get updates every 24 hours unless things take a turn for the worse but as of right now things are looking good and we are very confident that he is finally in good hands.
They want to keep him at least 3-5 days for close monitoring as well as IV fluids and antibiotics. I do not know the full extent of his surgery at this point but will post that update when we do know. As badly as we want to see him, his healing and safety is our upmost concern, and we know when he sees us he will get excited and we absolutely do not want anything to reopen or rupture during that, so we will probably not see him until the middle of next week.
Please continue to send the prayers, good vibes, good juju, light, energy, and positivity his way.
I KNOW he’s receiving them.

Hey friends & neighbors!!
Make sure to stop by this weekend at the annual Hartsel Days in Hartsel CO!

Saturday 8/1 & Sunday 8/2 8am - 4pm

There are a TON of vendors of all kinds and activities for the family like a parade, duck challenges, coffin races, out house races, a watermelon eating contest and so much more!! There’s even a FREE pancake breakfast Saturday morning from 8-10am.

Due to our pup Princetons recent hospitalization and surgery, I am selling everything at a 20-40% discount to help raise funds for his care.
All of my “horror movie” dolls will be $80 or less, and everything else is $40 or less. 👀
The dog toys that I have will still have a 20% donation to the Cat Casita at High Paw in Fairplay, CO.

Omg he’s alive!! I can’t believe this miracle but our boy is alive!!!
The vet said she has no idea how he’s survived this long. His intestines have been rupturing over and over. He’s recovering slowly and is still not out of the dark but he’s alive!
They will be keeping him for at least a few days to monitor closely, and give IV fluids and antibiotics. We will need to find a nutritionalist to help with his diet and challenges as a lot was affected, but she made it very clear that she saw that he was a fighter and not ready to give up.
It’s an absolute miracle.
For THREE AND A HALF YEARS we have been fighting for him, going to multiple vets, trying to advocate for him and find out what was going on.
So I just want to say thank you everyone who has prayed and sent the good vibes. I know he is receiving them. Please continue to send them during this recovery time. I am so grateful we never gave up 😭🐾

I got to see Princeton today! His transfusion went well. He’s slowly starting to get the color back in his gums/tongue. He was sooo happy to see me. His energy levels are much better and he was over the moon that I brought his favorite ball to chew on for a little. While we are still not out of the dark, it was amazing to see him feeling a little better.
Tomorrow they will open him up and see what’s going on. We’re really hoping it’s a foreign object and not a mass, and if it is a mass, that it isn’t cancerous. We probably wont hear an update until the evening.

Princeton update.
They’ve done multiple X-rays and different angles and found a mass in his abdomen. We don’t know if it’s in his abdomen or stomach. They also don’t know yet if it is a mass or a foreign object.
He is currently getting a blood transfusion and being monitored closely. They will keep him overnight again and open him up tomorrow to see what’s going on. Please please continue to send him all of the prayers, good vibes, good juju, thoughts, positive energy & light- just all of the good things.

Update on Princeton.
He is getting a blood transfusion and being held overnight. They will do testing like a GI test to see if it’s possible this is an autoimmune disease vs cancer. No matter what we are praying for good news and to get our boy back home soon.

Everyone please keep Princeton in your thoughts and prayers and send all the good juju and energy our way.
This poor boy can’t catch a break.
We took him to the vet today after we noticed his gums losing and changing color, and him having little appetite and energy. We’ve really been struggling with balancing his diet and working around his allergies so I thought he had a deficiency problem. We did bloodwork and found he is severely anemic and has a high white blood count. He will most likely need a blood transfusion, if not multiple.
There are a few things this could be from cancer to auto immune disease or a small handful of other things. We did an ultrasound and X-rays and could not find the source of the bleeding so they believe it may be in his stomach or lower GI. I’ve reached out to another vet who is helping us come up with ideas for testing and referring us to another clinic nearby that may be able to help.
We are absolutely crushed by the thought of losing him especially when he’s not even 5. Im praying we can find answers and help him. Can life please give us a break already?
I will post updates as we learn them. This may impact my ability to attend Hartsel Days this weekend, and I may need to post my inventory at massive discounts to help raise funds for his care. We have to figure this out as we go. Please say some prayers and light some candles for our sweet boy

Thank you so much again to everyone who came out to see me last weekend at the annual Festival in the Clouds in Alma CO!
During this show I sponsored our local Cat Casita Rescue at High Paw Pet Supplies and raised $50 to donate to the kitties!
Did you know I started hand making dog and cat toys?
They are made from tee-shirt yarn and fleece!
They have a lot of stretch and durability. Animals of all ages and breeds are obsessed with them!
