Tuesday brings us

And oh my gosh have I got an amazing looking new brand for us to offer you.....

G-Shock by Casio offers everyone some amazing timepieces in this new collection for us. Offering various sizes, finishes, functions, stylings this brand has really broadened our selection of timepieces that we have to offer you. The picture provided merely scratches the surface on all the pieces we have to offer within the store.

These watches came from need.... in 1981 designer Kikuo Ibe dropped a pocketwatch he inherited from his father resulting in in breaking. 😭 As the team produced version after version unable to achieve the goals set out for this timepiece- battery to survive 10 years, 10 bar water resistance, and able to withstand a drop from 10 feet- resulting in over 200 prototypes. He was brought inspiration from playing on the playground with his daughter. Realizing that the center of a rubber ball doesn’t have the shock brought to it the finalized idea for achieve shock resistancy was born.

Sunday brings us

As you see in our picture we have the amazing help of Jordyn and Joel (our plush animal friends helping to save the children’s lives at St.Jude Children’s Hospital) to professionally clean and inspect your jewelry. And guess what?! We will gladly offer our professional cleaning and inspection on your amazing piece of jewelry even if you didn’t purchase it from us.

During the inspection process we check over your entire piece of jewelry using multiple types of microscopes, one of which is a state of the art video scope which allows YOU the opportunity to see what we see! And if we identify something with you that is in need of being fixed we have an on-site design and service center where we have jewelers here to fix your piece.
Now I can hear you now- “Great! How long am I going to be without my prized jewelry? 😔” The amazing thing about Jared the Galleria of Jewelry is that we keep our jewelers onsite at all times so that we have the ability to get it back to you typically between 1-3 hours for most work performed. Instead of the 2+ weeks others might have you wait.

So come in and let me and my store professionally clean and inspect your jewelry and while your waiting and watching us do this for you feel free to adopt 1 or more of our plush animals and do your part in saving the kids defeat cancer!!

Saturday brings us to . This is where we will show you what’s happening in jewelry style. And probably even give you sneak peeks into what’s coming for Christmas! 😉

So today’s style being introduced is Men’s Gold Fashion. Get ready gentleman!! This is the year where we guys get to take back the jewelry case! We have more men’s jewelry currently in stock that I have ever seen.

That includes anything from simple chains and bracelets to more dressier crosses and religious pendants. Also new for us this year is diamond cut chains - this offers the “simple” chain a way to step out into the center stage and become that eye catching piece that completes the look as we get ready to impress!

And because women shouldn’t be the only ones that get to wear all the jewelry, we now carry more men’s rings than ever before. All of our designs are available in yellow gold(which is absolutely BLOWING UP) or white gold.

Today for we introduce to you Tungsten Carbide Steel.

This metal, which first came about from industrial uses in WW2, now offers some spectacular designs in jewelry. Though predominantly used in creating rings, tungsten has been been known to showcase itself in fashion bracelets and even incorporated into magnificent timepieces! 10x harder than 18k gold this amazing metal offers durability to rough and tumble, I don’t wanna worry about what I might do to my ring wearers while still being classy enough to not look like a nut you pulled out of your tool box (though some designs may give you this look if that’s truly what you want🤔) Tungsten is available in multiple colors ranging from gun metal grey, white, and black.

The ins and outs of this metal: it is required to be individually made in the size of ring desired. Unfortunately with how it is created the size of the ring is not adjustable, so make sure you stay on top of your workout regimen once you say “I do” as to not pack on any happiness weight after your big day. 🤣
With the Black Tungsten the color is achieved through a type of plating process so just know that it can/will wear off depending on how brutal you are to your jewelry.
But the pros of what you get with this choice of metal is the strength of the metal and longevity it offers in maintaining its looks without showing any scratches.

Why is this so great for you? This gives you the chance to have your jewelry professionally cleaned and inspected at ZERO COST TO YOU! At the time of your inspections we get the opportunity to drool over your beautiful pieces as well as address any potential issues you may be having with your jewelry. All of which can be handled onsite in our in-house design and service center.

This week also welcomes back our plush animal friends - Jordyn the adorable teddy bear and Joel the huggable puppy dog.

I can hear your questions now:
”Why does Jared the Galleria of Jewelry have plush animals for sale, isn’t this a jewelry store?
And what is the reasoning behind these cute companions?”

Well let me explain why these adorable friends came to be. This year marks our 21st year as a Partner in Hope with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It is through the sale of these plush animals that we have become one of the world’s largest corporate sponsors for them and have been able to donate over $71 million to date and have committed to raising more than $90 million for the kids at St. Jude. Through our guests’ purchase of these cuddly friends we have had the pleasure of being involved in such projects as:

Research and Care Center- as our newest project this $50 million commitment to build a six-story tower in heart of the St. Jude campus will help usher in a new era of research, education, collaboration, care and treatment for the kids at St. Jude.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital-Washington University Pediatric Cancer Genome Project- completed in 2013, we donated $20 million as the lead sponsor of this ground breaking project.

These 2 projects are just the most recent in a long list of projects we have completed for the kids and have the utmost pleasure of bringing to this amazing hospital.

We call upon you amazing people to help US! Help us save more kids lives! As Danny Thomas, the founder of St. Jude said, “No child should die in the dawn of life”. It is through your small purchase of $13.99 (plus tax) that we are able to do such great things for these children. Come in and see us and take 1 or 100 of these cute friends home with you. Don’t have a home for them all? That’s perfectly fine, as we like to help as much as we absolutely can. We have partnered with a local non profit here in Illinois that takes your donated plush animals and gives them to children that have recently been removed from abusive homes. In turn, the hospital gets the money they need to do the amazing things they do and a local child gets the comfort of your donated plush animal to calm them in a very difficult time in their life.
