Lots of new people here, so it’s a great time to reintroduce the store (and myself). Lark & Vines is Fairview Park’s colorful gift shop for the person who’s impossible to shop for. Walk in stuck, walk out with the perfect gift. We’ll even wrap it for you. We feature fair-trade goods and items from women-owned companies for everyone on your list.
More than just a shop, we also are a community. We have monthly gatherings and in-store events. (The next one is Petals and Pumpkins on October 8.) Our Community Room is available for rent for your gathering as well.
What started as a passion project to bring color into people’s homes (I was so tired of all the beige and gray home decor!) has grown into a place to find the perfect something for someone special. I wanted to help you and you were asking for gifts for others, not for yourself.
We pride ourselves on sourcing items you won’t find elsewhere and goods that give back. We also give back to our community.
Where did our name come from? “Lark” is a play on my initials (larc). It’s the first bird of the morning and a symbol of new beginnings. I had always wanted to own a store and this was a new start for me. “Vines” is an homage to my mother and grandmother who always told me I could do whatever I put my mind to. Two vining plants that were theirs are in The Community Room. They remind us that we can do hard things.
