Fleurish Fest is this weekend (July 25–26) at Fleurish Flower Farm & Design near Elk Point. In our current issue, writer Katie Hunhoff visits Christy Heckathorn's flower farm, where corn and soybean fields give way to rows of zinnias, a corn-crib gazebo and a certified grass airstrip for pilots flying in for events. Heckathorn's philosophy: "It's like living art."
