What happened to these back braces? Oh that’s what happened. Customer said I was the only one brave enough to fix this. Bravery or stupidity, we will see which one it is.

Customer had GC (you know who I’m talking about) put a strap button in a new Martin OOO-18. Wrong position xtreee large pilot hole and ran out of toothpicks to plug the hole. Customer wanted this guitar, not a different one. Shipped it to me to correct. Job #1, plug and touch up. Hope he likes it.

That look 47 years ago to present day. Glad we are in this thing together. Love unlimited.

Cindy and I had a productive week of repair work in the shop this week and it was capped off with a visit from Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit. Worked on a Fender Bass VI by adding a Mastery Bridge. Sounded much better than stock bridge, surprise, surprise. Thanks Wes for this opportunity.

Had the honor of having the very creative guitarist Wes Borland of the band Limp Bizkit in the shop this week. Helped him out with a Fender Bass VI he was using in the studio. Glad we could get him up and running with it. A nice guy. Cindy and I enjoyed our time with him. Chloe told us Erik would have crapped his pants meeting Wes. That would have been unfortunate for him, but I think we get what she was meaning.
