🍂 TODAY’S GUTTER CLEANING — YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU’LL FIND!
Today we knocked out a gutter cleaning on a standard single-story home, and this one was a perfect example of why having your gutters cleaned and inspected before the wet weather arrives is so important.
The gutters had a heavy amount of shingle debris and roofing granules left behind from a previous roof replacement. That material settles into the bottom of the gutter and can eventually restrict water flow and plug downspouts.
But today’s winner for the main clog? 😂
🏸 A badminton birdie lodged right at the downspout opening!
Once leaves and roofing debris started collecting around it, it basically became the perfect little dam. We removed the obstruction, cleared the accumulated debris, cleaned the gutter runs, and made sure everything was flowing properly again.
Sometimes it’s leaves. Sometimes it’s pine needles. Sometimes it’s roofing debris.
And apparently… sometimes it’s sporting equipment. 😂
