Oh, what a summer we’ve had! ☀️

As we start to feel the seasons changing, we’ve been looking back at all the fun we’ve had. From new store announcements and Story Squad to the market and so many little moments in between, this summer has been a good one.

We’re not quite ready to say goodbye to it yet, but we wanted to take a moment to remember some of our favorite parts. This one’s definitely going in the books.

If you’ve been to West Acres, you’ve more than likely seen the Fountain of Abundance!

Created by local artist Richard Szeitz, the fountain was installed in 1974 and has been a staple piece of art at West Acres ever since. After all those years, it was definitely time for a little cleaning.

We’re lucky enough to have Richard’s daughter, Magda, here to team up with our very own Ethan and work on this project. After many vinegar baths and a lot of hard work, the fountain is back up and sparkling!

Next time you’re at West Acres, make sure you stop by and take a look!
