We are an art gallery & gift shop, pop-up exhibit, and host of special art events. Main floor accessible.

Gallery 4 is an artist cooperative gallery owned-and-operated by 18 local premier member artists, 50 total artists on display & located in historic Downtown Fargo. Gallery 4 offers a wide variety of artwork and gifts by more than 40 local and regional member artists. Our artists have a variety of professional experience, backgrounds and mediums. The gallery is available for special events rental, pop-up room for exhibitions and a supporting artist gallery. Gallery 4 is a destination gallery for tourists, local art lovers and enthusiasts. Conveniently located just off Broadway in the heart of Downtown Fargo at 115 Roberts Street N. There are many locations for parking, including The Roberts Commons Garage.

Gallery 4 is excited to welcome Ted Martin and DMitry Lewman for a dual exhibition as Artists in Residence.
Their exhibit will run from November 1, 2026 - January 31, 2027.
Their reception is on Saturday November 7 at Gallery 4.

From Ted Martin:
I grew up on the prairies. As a child, I drew chickens, horses, cattle, and women. Most of my adult years, twenties to fifties, I've lived close to nature, so I spent time drawing wildlife and men. I no longer live close to nature. Fargo is quite urban, and I am adapting my drawing subject matter to it.

I'm old. I'm retired. Drawing is a hobby that keeps me sane.

Mostly, I use black pens, illustration alcohol markers, graphite, and, lately, wax crayons.

I've used crayons before, but more as a painting technique. I use crayons for coloring subjects and adding textures to the backgrounds of drawings, usually paired with textured foam printing with ink brushed on for a cloudy sky effect.

My drawings are an expression of my interests.
