I've had a lot of questions about our travel mugs so I made this. The Specialty colors at the bottom are brand new color options. The Prism mugs aren't even available yet! They will be soon though. Tomorrow is our big day here in the Village. Farmersville's chance to host the Farmer's Market. We have all the vendors from the normal group attending and a bunch of others who are making a special appearance. There will be baked goods, fresh local produce, lot's of crafts and I know for a fact, at least one, amazing Food Truck... Hell Belly Burrito's will be there. He's a normal vendor at the Gtown Market and he makes some of the best salsa I've ever tasted. I can only imagine how good his burritos will be! There will be live music and we'd like to encourage everyone to take a stroll down Main St. to take a look at the Community Garden to see what can be accomplished by a small group of incredibly dedicated members.. We'd like anyone who's interested to inquire about becoming a member next year. We have big plans and need your support for both the Farmer's Market and the Community Garden to make sure this is a success. So take an hour or so and visit the Village. Talk to people and meet your neighbors. Just come out and support the event.

Also, and it'll be first come, first served, but we are having free parking in front of our shop at 120 East Center St... Down the Alley behind the house with the red-white and blue lights and two front doors. We can probably hold about 10 cars, but its only a block and a half away and might, hopefully make it easier. Thanks!

I just want to remind everyone that this Sunday the Farmer's Market in Germantown is setting up shop on South Main St in Farmersville across from the Village Inn. The market runs from 9 - 5 and there will be vendors offering produce, crafts and baked goods. There will be Live Music as well!

There is no charge to set up a booth to sell your wares, so if you have homemade products and want to test the waters, this is a great, FREE, opportunity to give it a try. Right now we have have 20+ vendors and the more we get the bigger and better it will be!

As a small-business owner here in Farmersville I'm asking all my friends to come out and support the community. All the vendors are local and you'll not only be helping us but also getting the Village some much needed exposure.

I want to invite everyone to come down and check out The Germantown Farmer's Market! This isn't the same one you're used to seeing behind the city building. We shut down Center St. in front of the Historical Society for a few hours and hope that our friends and fellow members of the community come down to see what we have to offer. I'll admit that right now there isn't a lot of produce to buy, but as the growing season progresses you'll find more and more locally grown produce that you KNOW is better than anything you'll find in the grocery store! Right now you'll mostly be supporting our local artisans and craftspeople. And honestly... right now its important that you just show up. Stop by The Creamery, grab a coffee and take a stroll downtown. Take a look at what our community members are offering and then go have lunch at The Alleyway Cafe. We all know that other communities are out-pacing us in what they offer their residents. Look at what Miamisburg has done! The only way we can keep up is by having fun, cool stuff to do locally. This is by no means the answer... but it's a start. Just come down and say HI!

We will be at the Farmer's Market tomorrow showcasing a few of the amazing things we can do at FTL Laser Engraving. Don't forget to stop by and pick up your Spartan Travel Mug! Ok Everyone, Great News!!! The new soil is being delivered this afternoon. I'm (hopefully) having it dumped in the big bed so it will be easier to move to the smaller beds. So once it's there, our members can start moving it to their beds and planting their plants! I'm going to organize an evening next week to get as many members and volunteers to help clean up and start planting the Community Beds. On that note:
I want to Sincerely Thank Christine Chalmers and Jessica Kurtz and her son for taking 4 hours out of their day to clean up the big bed and several of the smaller ones. They did this on their own and THAT's the kind of involvement that makes this Community Garden work. Thank You!!!

I made these today using our new laser. We are starting a new division of our cabinet shop called FTL Laser Engraving and I wanted to let all my friends see some examples. The one with the moon is an actual NASA picture of the Moon. It's on a circle of maple plywood. The one with the heart I drew myself on a piece of paper and engraved on a board Your kids can make a truly personal message that will last forever! We can customize just about anything you'd want. They make amazing gifts and it's almost Mother's Day! Just a reminder!

To all the members and volunteers of the Main Street Community Garden and anyone interested in becoming a member:

Boy! I sure know how to pick 'em!!

My weather app is calling for a 90% chance of rain at 6:00 tomorrow. 50% and I'd do a wait-and-see. 90% means Nope!

So... We are rescheduling for Wednesday at 6:30. I hope everyone can still make it.

I'll be at the garden Thursday evening starting some clean-up of my beds, so if you can't make Wednesday I will be there Thursday also to answer any questions you might have. You can also call or text me anytime.

I apologize for the reschedule, but I'm pretty sure no one wants to stand out in the rain!

Hello all you fellow community gardeners!! We are planning on having our first gathering of the minds on April 23rd at 6:30pm, at the garden, weather permitting. We be assigning our new members their beds, discussing the direction we want our garden to go in, and maybe even doing a little clean up. It will be a time to meet others and begin growing our garden as a community.
