I'm gonna hold your hand while I say this:
You know what sabotages the most spellwork?
Your own actions.
Ouch! I know, heres some aloe for that burn.
Now stay with me.

You can do the most beautiful cord cutting ritual you've ever seen... and then answer their call ten minutes later.
Or spend the next three hours stalking their Facebook.

You can do a prosperity spell... then refuse to apply for the job or take the opportunity the Universe practically dropped in your lap.

What exactly do you think your spell is supposed to do with that?

Magic isn't here to override your free will, it's here to work with it.
If you're asking the Universe to close a door, stop sneaking back through the window. If you do, don't be surprised when the Universe gets mixed signals.
Your mundane life needs to align with your magic. They need to work together, not argue with each other.
Your actions should sound exactly like your intentions.

Fair warning: If you do a cord cutting on your toxic ex, complain to me that it didn't work, then casually mention you texted them dont be surprised when I give you the look that says "I really want to bonk you on the head right now 🤨".

🌩️ A lot of people have heard of moon water... but not nearly enough people are making storm water.

With storms moving through tonight, I figured this was the perfect excuse to talk about one of my favorite magical ingredients.

Storm water is exactly what it sounds like. Put a jar of water outside during a storm and let it soak up all that delicious, chaotic energy. You can leave the lid on if you want clean water—the point isn't collecting rain. It's collecting the energy of the storm itself.

Once the storm has passed, bring it back inside, label it, and you've just added another tool to your magical cabinet.

Now here's where it gets fun!

Storm water is not moon water.
Moon water is calm and reflective.

Storm water is a little different energy. It doesn't politely ask obstacles to move, storm water kicks the damn door off the hinges.

It's wonderful for:
⚡ Protection work
⚡ Banishing
⚡ Breaking through obstacles
⚡ Courage and confidence
⚡ Motivation when you've been feeling stuck
⚡ Spells for rapid change and transformation

Not all storm water is created equal, either.
A soft summer rain has a completely different personality than a thunderstorm that's shaking your windows and throwing lightning across the sky.

And one last thing...
Please don't stand outside waving a mason jar around while lightning is actively trying to remind us who's actually in charge. Nature is magical. It's also capable of smiting people who make questionable decisions.

Collect your water safely and enjoy adding another powerful ingredient to your practice.

🌕 The Aquarius Full Moon is here!

Also known as the Buck Moon, this Full Moon arrives around the same time when bucks begin growing their new set of antlers. Every year they shed what no longer serves them and grow something stronger.
There's a lesson in that.

Aquarius is the rebel of the zodiac. It doesn't ask you to fit in. It asks where you've been shrinking yourself, clinging to old stories, or carrying baggage that should've been left behind three exits ago.

This is not soft, cozy Moon energy.
This is, "We're done with that nonsense."

Full Moons are all about culmination, illumination, release, gratitude, and manifestation. They shine a spotlight on what you've been avoiding, whether you wanted that spotlight or not.

This is an excellent time for:
🌕 Cord cuttings and release work
🌕 Cleansing your home, altar, crystals, and ritual tools
🌕 Charging crystals
🌕 Making Moon water
🌕 Divination and spirit communication
🌕 Protection work
🌕 Journaling what you're ready to release

And before somebody panics because they can't get to their ritual tonight, you didn't miss it.

In magical practice, we work with what is called a three-day orb. The energetic influence of the Full Moon extends through the day before, the day of, and the day after.
So if life happened, breathe. The Moon isn't standing there with a clipboard going, "Sorry, you're six minutes late, better luck next month."

So light the candle, pull the cards, cleanse the house, charge the crystals, release what has become too heavy to carry, and make room for whatever comes next.

The Moon is doing her part.
