What a fun night! Everyone was so brave about being haiku-ists and they were all so good it was nearly IMPOSSIBLE to choose the winner! But congrats Amy! Yours described not just the actual beverage but almost exactly how it felt to sip wine in a bookstore on a summer night with friends and strangers alike! Swing by for your prize! THIS FRIDAY, the last day of July, please join us at Wine Bar between 5 and 8 for a friendly haiku writing competition! Inspired by a wine bar regular, all you have to do is purchase a beverage (NA options too!), do some deep thinking about how it tastes and how it makes you feel, what it makes you DREAM of!!! Then write a simple haiku about the experience of that particular beverage (5-7-5!!) and submit it to me at the bar! Your name will then be entered into a raffle for a FREE Twice Sold Tales swag bundle! The best of the best haikus will forever appear as that beverages public tasting notes. You do NOT have to be a poet to participate!
