Since reviving the Havey Mine in 2009, Jeff Morrison has uncovered a remarkable array of world-class mineral pockets!

We had the best time at this years NEMA tailgate event! Touched a piece of the Moon + Mars with Maine Mineral & Gem Museum

Explored the uv tent 🔦

Played the match your specimen game! The kids organized their metamorphic, sedimentary, and igneous specimens to the correct place settings. A game we will be making at home because that was too fun!

Viewed "the sands of the world" and "microscopic minerals" , the smallest meteorite in the world 👀

Whether you’re a longtime rockhound, a crystal lover, a collector, a jewelry enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates the incredible beauty of the natural world, there’s something for everyone! You might walk in looking for one specific thing and walk out with a new favorite mineral, a fascinating fossil, a new hobby, or even a deeper appreciation for just how extraordinary our planet really is! 🌎💎

A special thanks for a great weekend with Kennebec Rocks and Minerals Club 😊🫶 Thank you to all the club members and demonstrators 🙏 The home cooked meals, shared knowledge with a smile, and taking a moment of silence each morning for our men and women who served and continue to serve this country, you all are truly wonderful and we are grateful to be a part of your event ❤️

We had the best weekend with you all! ! We are so impressed with this clubs hospitality for its vendors, it was really unlike anything we've experienced so far ✨️ Kindness and thoughtfulness goes a long way. They really put in the work to not only care for us but to more deeply involve the entire town in this event, we are so grateful 🫶

The venue was jaw dropping, eight weddings being hosted there this year, so you know it was stunning! With the potential to expand to a larger neighboring space next year, that means more inventory, more demonstration space, more everything! Mark your calendars to keep watch for next years event, this is by far the best town to visit for a gem show!

Make a full day for yourself, enjoy authentic cuisines, photo worthy views, explore the state's best indoor farmers market, and come to the gem show to learn more about why our great state is so well respected in the worldwide gem and mineral community 🙌

There is something truly magical about walking into a gem and mineral show 😌✨️ Curious about the natural world? Gem shows provide an opportunity to explore with a new discovery at every table!

Maine is especially fortunate to be home to some of the most remarkable mineral deposits in the world 👏🔥 The state's rugged mountains have produced highly admired specimens of tourmaline, beryl, quartz, feldspar, garnet, and many other minerals that are prized by collectors worldwide! Each gem show in Maine is a celebration of the state's extraordinary natural heritage 🙌

Community... These events bring together miners, collectors, artists, lapidarists, museums, clubs, vendors, and many wonderful rock enthusiasts from all around the world, creating an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages!
