The other night, while creating a bouquet for a truly life-changing moment for two special people, I found myself reflecting on just how fortunate we are to play even a small part in life’s biggest milestones.
Over the past eight years, we’ve had the privilege of being part of hundreds of weddings, baby showers, birthdays, retirements, and even helping families celebrate the beautiful lives of loved ones who have passed. Every arrangement tells a story, and being trusted with those moments is something we’ll never take for granted.
To us, flowers are love—and we love every kind of love.
We don’t always post every creation or talk endlessly about every event we’ve been a part of. That’s just not who we are. But behind the scenes, we’re pouring our hearts into every bouquet and arrangement that leaves our shop.
We may not be the biggest or fanciest florist, and we may not charge astronomical prices, but we can promise this: we’ll work just as hard—if not harder—to make your vision come to life. We’re the quiet hometown florist who will go above and beyond to make everything as perfect as possible. If that means searching high and low after hours for the perfect flower, that’s exactly what we’ll do.
We know we’re not perfect, and we know we can’t please everyone. But for those of you who have supported us, trusted us, and allowed us to be part of your most cherished moments, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Your love and support mean more than you’ll ever know. Thank you for allowing us to bring a little beauty, comfort, and joy to your life’s most meaningful moments. We truly love what we do, and we are incredibly grateful that you continue to choose us.
As I post this for mom, I’d like to add in that today marks EIGHT years of owning Fawn Grove Florist. Eight years ago, high-school me thought that when Miss Karen retired, my love for creating flowers would simply have to come to an end. However, mom bought the shop and has kept my dream alive. Our job is so much more than flowers, so much more than the weddings, the funerals, the birthdays—it’s something so deep from our hearts that words can’t explain. As mom stated, we aren’t the huge billboard florists, the ones posting daily or begging to be part of vendor lists, we are who we are. We are the two gals from little Fawn Grove with a dream to make YOUR dream perfect. No extra fuss—just us. We are so incredibly grateful for every event we’ve been apart of, they are memories in our book forever. To mom, thank you for keeping my dream alive. Thank you for being the greatest boss & allowing me to make and remake bouquets 57 times just because that one flower wasn’t perfect, thank you for believing in me and allowing me to continue the dream with you. On June 25th, I gave birth to the next floral designer—Huntlee Sue can’t wait to get in the shop and watch Mimi do her thing.
Thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts. Here’s to the next eight ❤️
