🇺🇸 **Where were you when the world stopped turning 25 years ago today?**
September 11, 2001 is a day that many of us will never forget.
Farmer William was in the 8th grade, sitting in class. At first, we didn’t really understand what was happening, but we knew something wasn’t right when kids started getting checked out of school. As the day unfolded, we began to realize that we were witnessing something that would forever change our country.
Today, 25 years later, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives that were lost. We honor the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, military members, first responders, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger to help others. We also remember the families who lost loved ones and the countless people whose lives were forever changed that day.
September 11th showed us some of the darkest moments our country has ever faced, but it also showed us the courage, sacrifice, strength, and unity of the American people.
May we never forget those who went to work that morning and never made it home. May we never forget those who gave their lives trying to save others. And may we never forget how our country came together in the days that followed.
