Good afternoon friends. As we gathered with family tonight we just got a phone after 7pm this evening… (black photo) that due to to things out of control Dylan’s 1st DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) appointment has been cancelled.

✨Let us remain optimistic and prayerful as we navigate through the challenges of Dylan’s DBS appointment cancellation due to insurance company approval delay. We will keep faith alive and continue to believe for that they’ll get the approvals needed and for a successful surgery in the coming weeks, trusting that our prayers will be answered.

✨We have dates set from Jan up to End of March already set in place (Those sticky notes are the surgery dates AND Dylan’s anesthesia letter instructions for DBS surgeries)

✨They are NOT cancelling any of the other surgery dates already set for Dylan at this time as their hopeful they’ll get apporval before the next one that is already scheduled a few weeks out.

✨When we got the call in December to go over the surgery dates I knew prior to this that nothing would be booked unless our insurance approved it AND when we got the call December I asked so that it means it’s approved?! I was told yes…AND I was beyond excited for Dylan with hopes this will help years to come to live a life that we all take for granted.

✨We already put in for days off work AND everything.

✨BUT I remain hopeful in prayer 🙏 that God will pull through AND not only get this surgery approved for Dylan BUT also guide the surgeons hands AND keep him safe.

✨So, we ask you all to please come together in prayer 🙏 that we hear something before the next few weeks as we have more surgey dates that I pray 🙏 we don’t have to reschedule or postpone BUT if there’s one thing life has taught me through all this is that it’s in God’s hands 🙌 AND it’ll all work out either way.

✨I’ll keep you all posted AND I’m going to be calling our insurance company tomorrow to hopefully get some answers. ✨

Next week, our family embarks on a another journey as Dylan undergoes Deep Brain Surgery! The surgical team will implant medal rods in his skull and later place electrodes in his brain. Following that, they’ll position the battery pack in his chest and connect it to the brain with wires. After a month of healing, we’ll return for them to activate the device., and from there, many follow-up appointments will ensue until April. With my work they have a program where I can apply for aide assistance in seeing if we can get any help with medical costs. Some people are already donating in so many ways from food to gas cards etc AND one thing I do know is that God has blessed us with some great people in our lives who we hold dear to our heart. Thank you for your support. 💚💙

We had a blast celebrating my besties birthday! 🥳

We’ve been friends ✨since our boys was in kindergarten and both of those friendships are still holding strong today. As we’ve celebrated their birthdays together, now it’s our turn to be celebrated. As we embrace the next chapter of our lives together, may our bond only strengthen further through shared experiences that foster unity, hopefulness and enduring memories.

Next ✨ week our family will be embarking on a journey like never before as Dylan’s DBS (Deep Brain Surgery) is coming up AND one thing I do know is that God has blessed us with some great people in our lives who we hold dear to our heart and you my friend are one of them. We love you! 💕 Here’s to 40’s club…. Welcome… it’s about time you caught up with the rest of us 😂
