As I posed for the photos for the release of these capris for the website, there lie a less fortunate individual just feet away on the park bench cover up in a blanket. Although I wasn't fully clothed myself, it was quite chilly outside that morning. It's makes me think of the less fortunate. Then last week, I stood at the counter at Starbucks. There stood a stand with a sign and basket right underneath. In the basket were various feminine hygiene products. I read the flyer which was from Connections of Cumberland County.
They were collecting hygiene items for their Hygiene Closet. I didn't have my phone with me in the store to take a photo of the sign so I called them when I got back to work to get me the information off the flyer. I am now purchasing and collecting items for the closet. I'm trying to get everything to them by close of business Thursday the 22nd.
