Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting our friends at Marrowbone. I enjoy stopping by the studio to see what is new for the week. I'm thrilled to watch the business grow and it is growing. I want to thank all of our friends who have been supporting this business. Please like and follow their website. James will post the days and hours they will be open for retail shopping. Yesterday we went on our weekly picking trip. We stopped by to visit our friends at Marrowbone Glassworks: James, Adamm, and Jared. We were also lucky enough to meet up with some of our dearest friends at the studio. The day got even better when Dave Osburn stopped by, it's always a pleasure to see Dave. It was a great day. I have to say Adamm and Jared worked non-stop, their hearts are really into the glass they make. I was happy to see the customers that came in while we were there. Of course I had to pick up a few pieces.

We started our journey into collecting WV glass almost 27 years ago. We have met many wonderful people over the years. A few years ago we met a young glass collector, James Arnett. James would stop by the store when he was in the area, we had great conversations about WV glass. I started seeing videos about a new glass studio in Huntington, WV. I was pleasantly surprised to see this is James' project. I wanted to visit the studio, but had to wait due to health issues and Mother Nature turning the state into an icy mess. Yesterday we were finally about to go to the studio. We had a great visit with James and we met Jared and Adamm. It was very exciting to see all of the beautiful glass in person. If you are in the Huntington area on the weekends I hope you will stop by the studio. They are usually open on Saturday and Sunday from 12 until 4.
