This is such a lovely reflection on what we hope author events at Scholar & Scribe can be — not just a chance to meet a favorite writer, but an opportunity for stories, memories, and people to connect in unexpected ways.

Stephanie Minter Adamek joined us for Mary Kay Andrews’ recent Road Trip event and brought her grandmother, Anne, along. What unfolded was a beautiful full-circle moment involving family history, an old connection to Mary Kay from her The Atlanta Journal-Constitution days, and a letter from Stephanie’s late grandfather. ❤️
