"WE are told to get a career, but the emphasis is on success and money rather than individual dreams. With such an imbalance in our collective focus, it is no wonder that millions of humans find real life impossible to cope with." -Joe Rogan
I hope, if nothing else, to inspire those who are not doing what they love; simply because they aren't aware they have inner creativity. You are good at thing
s, explore this vast world of imagination and CREATE a life you love!!!! I wanted something to do, something that wasn't a desk job or waiting tables, and something that didn't drain the life out of me while allowing me to be creative; so one day I decided I wanted to start sewing. At first, just to mend and alter clothes I had, and to potentially make my own dresses and outfits. My sweet man and I went to Walmart and bought me a $100 simple Singer sewing machine. That night I made him a pair of "shants" (short pants) with quilted care bear fabric, fully loaded with pockets, zipper and belt loops attached to the waistband. It was the most fun I have had by myself since my Lego days. I then got on Pinterest and found multiple items I wanted to make or attempt to make. This is when I fell in love with crafting purses and cosmetic bags! Shortly after that, Adam introduced me to the torch and I fell in love all over again. I have been blowing glass at The Ink and Glass Company in downtown Fayetteville. There is something soothing and meditating about solitude and fire, which I enjoy immensely while blowing glass!! While I love both, my real enjoyment comes from mixing the different art forms of sewing and glass blowing in a unique and functional display. I am thankful beyond words for the doors that have opened for me since and the enjoyment it has brought to my life. I look forward to creating and growing with my business :)) Thanks for listening and looking!
