Pete Dodge's Guide Service PDGS offers guided bass fishing trips on Lake Fayette. Two guest per trip 1/2 day-$275

Pete is a licensed bass fishing guide and lives just 1 mile from Fayette County Lake in Fayetteville, Texas. He was introduced to the outstanding bass fishing Fayette County has to offer in the mid 80’s and has enjoyed fishing the lake ever since. Living in Fayetteville allows him to spend hours on the lake graphing submerged farm ponds, creek channel ledges, foundations, points, humps, riprap, dr

op-offs and other structural anomalies in the lake. He keeps up with the most productive patterns by fishing the lake during the week with or without clients. Pete utilizes the latest in Lowrance and technology to locate and keep the boat positioned over the fish even on those windy days! He has over 20 years of experience fishing Fayette County, and bass tournaments in Texas and Louisiana. Come fishing with Pete and experience the magic of Fayette County Lake for yourself!!

Mission accomplished! Jordan (Dad), Braylon(14) and Maddox(13) each caught a new PB! Their 18:13 limit included Dad's 3:04 caught on a Terminator SB, while Braylon 4:04 & Maddox 5:09 caught theirs on the Lake Fayette Tackle Co 1/4 oz Texas Craw jig. Each were rewarded with a LFCT hat in recognition of their first bass caught on a jig!

Fished from 10AM till 2PM, Fishing was slow as was the wind, a perfect time to fish the LFTC Texas Craw 1/2 oz Jig🤗! Ended the trip with 19 lbs 9 Oz, with 4 of the 5 biggest caught on the jig!

Jason and Nicole hammered 4 pounders on 1/2 oz Terminators, until the morning bite slowed. We could only catch a handful following that. I think the full moon, wind die off and high pressure may have slowed the awesome June bite. If you recognize Jason, that's because he was the former cook at Peter's BBQ. He purchased a food truck for his catering business and will be at the La Grange square Saturday July 4th serving up some up some GREAT BBQ!

Tim & Selina drove in from Slidell Louisiana for their son's graduation in San Antonio and to catch a few at Fayette! Glad the fish were hungry, as Nicole needed to brush up on her hookset. It didn't take her long to catch on to the light bite and then as they say in Louisiana; "Laissez les bons temps rouler"! Let the good times roll!

Loved fishing with Travis and his Grandson Miles, and I think the bass enjoyed their company as well!
