Handcrafted Christmas Shop 2018 is pleased to invite you to apply to this juried event. This is a holiday pop-up shop that will take place at the Fayette Pavilion in Fayetteville, GA from November 28 through December 28, 2018. This event will offer a holiday shopping experience in a beautifully decorated venue where a team of decorators will create a setting comparable to a department store. Space is allotted according to the size of the items being displayed.
Unlike most events, vendors are not required to be present for the duration. This is essentially a “drop off shop” where your items will be sold for you (vendors only are free to volunteer to assist during the event). Vendors will be mailed a check of the proceeds from the sale of their items/products within 14 days of the close of the event. In addition, vendors will receive (2) reports, throughout the event, detailing the sales of their items up to the date the report is generated.
The application fee is $350.00, plus a 10% commission will be deducted from each vendor’s total sales. No refunds for cancellations, with exceptions for emergencies, considered on an individual basis. This event will showcase approximately 40 vendors, with limits in each category. Application deadline is September 30, 2018. Vendors not selected to participate in the event will receive a full refund of the application fee within 10 days of the application deadline.
Vendors will be notified by either e-mail or postal service. Acceptance letters will contain a vendor number, instructions on how to tag your items, delivery and pick up dates, and directions to the Fayette Pavilion.
The Fayette Pavilion offers 24-hour security, including Fayette County Police. The Handcrafted Christmas Committee and its staff will take precautions to eliminate the possibility of damage, loss or theft. However, neither the Fayette Pavilion, The Handcrafted Christmas Committee, nor any organization affiliated with the Handcrafted Christmas Shop will be held responsible for lost, broken, damaged, or stolen items from any cause whatsoever. Vendors should obtain, at their own expense, insurance against any loss or damage to their items/products.

SHOW RULES AND INFORMATION:
Handmade work ONLY. No buy/sell nor anything made from kits. Handcrafted Christmas is designed to showcase original, handmade crafts. The Handcrafted Christmas Committee will disallow any items not deemed appropriate for the event, including poor craftsmanship. The Committee reserves the right to refuse any items at check-in that do not meet the quality standards set for this event.
Due to space limitations, vendors will not be permitted to demonstrate their items/products. A crafters license is required for any items bearing collegiate or professional sports team logos. Photographs of representative samples of your work are required. Any items not listed on your application and not shown in the photographs will not be accepted at check-in.
At check-in, items will be compared to photos and tags will be checked. You will then be directed to a display area for unpacking your items and setting up your display. Please note that some items may be kept as back stock to refill as needed (as space allows). Vendors may bring more items/products as needed that may be added to their displays. Changing prices is not permitted, however, if new tags are required, marking through and writing new prices on previously marked tags is prohibited.
Vendors will be required to furnish baskets/containers for small items such as pins, ornaments, etc. The assigned vendor number and price must be attached to the bottom of each item/product.
