This is “parking lot” gold. AKA “gas station” gold. Don’t buy it! We see several items everyday where a customer has bought “gold” at a gas station or parking lot. Typically people are conned into this because our human nature wants to believe in people and help out others in need. Don’t be fooled! Share this with your friends and family so they are not victims of the same scam.

SCAM ALERT. 🚨 Beware!!
The picture below of counterfeit jewelry was brought into the gold store by a super nice gentleman. He explained to me that he was at a gas station & a stranger approached him and told him he was stranded and had no gas & no cash to get home. The stranger even had a wife & child with him. The stranger convinced this nice guy to go to the ATM in exchange for the pictured “gold”.
We call this type of fake jewelry “parking lot” or “gas station gold” jewelry. This is a common con. It also happens in our own mall parking lot often!
Please share with your friends so that it won’t happen to them!
