Connie's was established in 1992 as Country Produce but many came to know it as Monks Country Produce due to the brother and sister duo of Tomy Monks and Connie Monks West operating it. In 2003 Tommy decided to retire, so Connie with the help of her daughter, Lauren, kept up the standard of products that customers had come to expect. A few years later Connie's husband retired and joined the team.

Larry has done an excellent job of hauling in fresh produce and beautiful flowers. Connie's son farms and raises sweet potatoes for the market. In 2008, Lauren decided to embark on a new endeavor and began making silk flower arrangements and doing custom monogramming... Oh yeah and she got married too!!! So as a tribute to the woman that started it all and has kept ALL of us going, we decided to change our name in honor of her. After all, many folks around here would say... "Go see Connie, she'll fix you up." So if you havent met her, come by and see her!!! (She's GREAT even if she's my mom!!!)







We also have a new addition to the sales team....West Nelson Lambert. He's not running the show yet but give him time!!! Lauren and her husband, Josh, welcomed their first child, West, in September 2012.

Some days go smooth and some days don’t. But all in all we truly are blessed and thankful! It can always be worse and today was just a DAY. But luckily it wasn’t that bad. 😜

Lauren had truck issues!! So thankful for Corey❤️ and thankful issues happened near the Tennessee River Bridge and he got there so soon! He got it band-aided and she was able to pickup produce and get back in one piece today!!

Also we have local produce that was picked today!! Produce pictures coming!!

Hey guys we won’t be at First Saturday this Saturday. We enjoy First Saturday but Friday Lauren will be busy taking West to a football kicking camp and can’t get all her ducks in a row to make it to First Saturday this time. We do have some great produce and pretty flowers, we really hope you come out to the store this weekend.
