We started ‘s birthday month in ridiculous fashion with a drop dead gorgeous cake by . This thing looks incredible and tastes even better. If you live anywhere remotely close to Syracuse you really need to shoot her a message and get a custom cake on order for your next shindig. Follow her now so you don’t forget. I asked Carly to make a cake with lots of chocolate and here’s what she came up with: 5 layer cake with alternating dark chocolate and flourless chocolate layers, chocolate mousse filling, chocolate ganache drip, topped and garnished with milk chocolate buttercream, chocolate dipped cookies-and-cream macarons, shaved chocolate curls, snickers brownies, milk chocolate bars and cocoa nibs. It measured 7” in diameter, 11” tall and nearly 10 pounds 😳. Absolutely redonkulous. Who’s coming for leftovers!?

Inlay process shots - the inlay is glued and pressed into the main cutting board with a hydraulic press that ensures even pressure distribution. The extra material is removed after the glue dries, leaving a perfectly flat cutting board surface.

Merry Christmas! I finally made a growth chart for my son. Designed in Vcarve Pro and cut on my Stepcraft D.840 from in 3 steps. This was a fun project and with a little help from his pediatrician we were able to backfill his previous heights from ages 0 to 6. He had a lot of fun seeing how much he had grown each year and his mind was blown at how big he was when he was born... “how did I fit in there🤰👈 ??”
