Surf Asylum offers private and group surf lessons for beginning or advanced surfers, summer surf camps, surf clinics and special events in and around Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island, Florida. Twelve years of Surf Asylum and twelve summers with our girl Sofie!

From surf camp, to Surf Ambassador, to our adored and irreplaceable Beach Marshall, Sofie has been with us from the very beginning. Today we wish her a fond farewell as she moves on to new adventures.

Sofie, you may be moving on, but you will always be a part of the Surf Asylum family! It has been such a gift to us watching you grow from precocious camper to the lovely young woman you are today. You have made such a tremendous impact on so many of our campers and we are forever grateful to your dedication and hard work.

Oomph, we’re slipping a little on posting our weekly camp photo, but we certainly haven’t forgotten how much fun we had at this year’s Mini Grom MANIA! Our littlest surfers might have ridden the most waves of any week so far! They certainly definitely had the most giggles and the biggest smiles!
