We're making Lavender Apple Pie. It's one of our favorite fall bakes. Lavender + apple is a wonderfully cozy pairing. All we do to make this autumnal treat is add 2 teaspoons of lightly ground culinary lavender to the filling of our apple pie recipe. 🍎 🥧 🍂

The Lavender Store is looking for an 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰, 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 to join our team for the upcoming holiday season!

We're looking for someone who genuinely 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, loves providing great customer service, is dependable and positive, and of course...𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿! 💜

Our seasonal position runs 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗺𝗶𝗱-𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆, and availability during the holiday season is important. We are 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, but we do need someone who is available to work on other days surrounding those holidays.

Retail experience is a plus, but finding someone with the 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 is just as important to us.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to meet you! Stop by the store to pick up a short application.

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲! You may know just the person we're looking for. 💜

A Meaningful Partnership 💜

We love knowing there's a meaningful store behind many of the products we offer at The Lavender Store.

We're proud to partner with Rethreaded, a Jacksonville nonprofit that makes and packages most of our culinary recipes in their kitchen.

Rethreaded exists for the complete restoration of survivors of human trafficking, creating opportunity for women to build new lives through meaningful employment, community, and support.

We're incredibly grateful for the care they put into our products—and even more grateful to support an organization doing such important work in our community.

The next time you pick up one of our culinary favorites, know there's a little more meaning behind that package.

Good things really can create change.

Meet Lavender Blue 💜🐾

If you've been with us for a while, you may remember when Lavender Blue used to come to work with me every day. When he was little, his favorite spot was curled up under the front counter while I worked.

Then he turned about a year old and there was just one problem—he wasn't so little anymore! 😂 He officially outgrew his spot under the counter.

These days he doesn't come to the store, but he still goes to the office with me every day. He's my constant companion, my unofficial office assistant, and always close by while I'm working behind the scenes at The Lavender Store.

And with a name like Lavender Blue, naturally he needed his own purple bow tie.

Does anyone remember seeing Lavender Blue at the store when he was little?

We had such a wonderful time celebrating the Lavender Harvest with our friends at Story & Song!

We're so grateful for this special collaboration and always enjoy the opportunity to gather with fellow lavender lovers, share a little of what we know, and celebrate all things lavender.

A heartfelt thank you to Mark, Donna, and everyone for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of such a lovely event. And thank you to everyone who joined us — we loved spending the afternoon with you!

Until next time! 💜
