New Look, New Rule! October Book Clubs are here, and we are now allowing you to sign up for more than one book club per month. Please allow a week for initial sign-ups so that all spots can be filled by interested parties. After one week, you may sign up for a second book club.

Reminder: Our book clubs sell out fast. If you can no longer attend, please notify us so we can offer your seat to the waitlist.

Let’s Celebrate Our Favorite Genre!

Romance Bookstore Day is just one week away, and we could not be more excited! The day will be filled with discounts, giveaways, micro-trope recs, and a chance to win one of two grand prizes!

Please note that it will also be Woodward Dream Cruise weekend. East 9 Mile will be closed from Woodward to Hilton. Plan to find parking on nearby side streets, as the library parking lot will be closed.

It was a pleasure to host Diane Les Becquets for her first stop on her book tour. Diane had us engaged from beginning to end as we talked about writing, our perception of self, and the natural environments we live in. Her novel takes place in parts of the UP and had all of us thinking about those special places we find ourselves returning to year after year.
