Wyn's Farmer Walt on the left in the first picture & close-up in the second one popped up in my FB memories today. It's a bit early for him to be blooming but he always was a go-getter! The memories are there from the ADS National show in 2024

I started cutting off & digging the first row of dahlia plants on Oct. 8 then washed & divided them. Then our son, David, came along & dug all but the last 2/3 of the last row, (2025 seedlings) which I dug when they had a light frost. I have been plugging away washing, dividing & packing the clumps & today I finished! Yipeee! Now to get caught up in all the gardens around the house before it gets too cold for me to be out there!

On Monday 8/25/25 Frank & Margaret Snell's son, Jim & daughter, Jenny were here to see Wyn's Delta Margaret in person. We had a really nice visit & dinner

The Whatcom County Dahlia Society potluck is here at Wynne Farm this coming Wednesday, August 13. All dahlia lovers welcome. Bring your favorite dish to share- no, we are not dictating who brings what. After all, it is called a "potluck"! Turkey & ham as well as water, coffee, juice provided by the club. 1395 Willey's Lake Road, Ferndale, WA. Balloons out at the road will show how to get to 2 parking areas. One is the main driveway with more limited parking that we would like to save for those who have a bit of trouble walking & one is the gravel driveway called Torch Place, along the raspberry field with lots of parking by the greenhouse & the Little John. It's just a wee bit longer of a walk than the main driveway. Set up at 5:30 & dinner at 6
