Next Sunday (2/22) we’ll be joined by .banx for Drag Story Time at 12pm, followed by an author reading and signing with local children’s book author at 1pm.

It’s the most wonderful time of year! 🍪

Need an excuse to stock up? Our friend Sally and her Girl Scout troop are raising money for an animal rescue organization and a trip to the aquarium - let’s help them reach their goal!

Sally will be popping up here at the shop from 11-4 on Saturday 2/14. Get here early before the Whistler Sisters buy her out 🙈

🌈Sunday 2/1 marks the triumphant return of DRAG STORY HOUR. Join local queen .durevenant from 12:00 to 1:00 in the kids room for an hour of cozy stories and coloring. This event is free to attend with a suggested donation of $5 - 100% of your donation goes to your performer. Support local artists!

☕️Now for the sad news: our upcoming coffee pop-ups have been paused for now as takes a step back to recalibrate their business plans. We look forward to what comes next for them, and we’ll have complimentary hot tea for y’all on Sundays in the meantime!

Yes, we’re a brand new business and every dollar matters to us. And still: profit over people will never be our value.

Tomorrow, Friday 1/30, our doors will be closed as we join the general strike happening across the country. Business as usual is not an option. Our message is simple and unwavering: ICE has no place in our communities.

We know striking isn’t possible for everyone. Resistance doesn’t look the same for all of us. We’ll be sharing resources in our stories for ways to take action: calls, donations, learning, and mutual aid all count.

If you have to spend, spend locally and spend in cash. Protect small businesses. Starve systems of harm.

We’ll be open normal hours today, Saturday, and Sunday. Our space remains what it has always strived to be: a space for rest, reflection, reading, and just maybe, a reimagining of this world.

We’ve got not one, but TWO exciting reasons to venture out into the cold this Sunday! .durevenant is returning to the Whistler’s Daughter stage for Drag Story Hour from 12-1pm in the kids room, and will be serving up the best hot coffee beverages on Livernois from 11-3!

Join us Sunday 2/15 from 5-8pm for a cozy, hands-on embroidery workshop led by local artist Ellen Saville ().

Your $50 ticket price includes:
