This is something I struggle with
Set the price of your products based on their value to you and the prevailing market conditions. Frequently, individuals undercut their prices in an attempt to compete with others who undervalue their work—such as Suzy, who prices her items low because she crafts for relaxation and is unconcerned with financial gain, or Janis, who aligns her prices with large retailers like Walmart and Temu. It is important to recognize that Suzy, Janis, and these retail giants are not your competitors. Avoid adopting their pricing strategies, as it may diminish the worth of your own creations.
People are so used to on demand items and fast fashion that their ability to determine a price on something handmade is just no longer there. We as a society move to fast and rely on a fast pace even with our own bought items. I hope we regress from it and see the beauty in the things that take time and see the worth in the value of it.
