Bittersweet goodbye. Rags is over after 30 years. We again want to thank all the artists, volunteers, Guild members, and Larson Mercedes - who have given so much in support of the YWCA Pierce County's domestic violence programs.

The VIP Preview Event was amazing! We were thrilled to honor those who 30 years ago conceived the idea of RAGS, a Wearable Art Show and Sale, to donate the proceeds to the YWCA 's domestic violence programming. They brought it to fruition, and the Rags Guild carried it forward for 30 years until 2024 - our final year.

Mimi Anderson’s skills are showcased in the Rags Gallery this year. She has gorgeous hand woven scarves of course. Her jacket and dress are stunning also, constructed of handwoven fabric, hand painted silk, vintage kimono fabric.
