Wooden blue tooth speaker box i finished up and some ironwood animals that will be at the Hancock County Fairgrounds in Findlay, OH this weekend. Flea Market runs 9am till 4pm on Saturday and 9am till 3pm on Sunday.

Halloween chess board and handcarved peices completed. Will be on display at the woodcarvers clubhouse this tuesday afternoon and thursday evening. Will also be at the Hancock County Fairgrounds this weekend during the flea market.

The wood 2026 calendars were popular so we did the 2027 ones and are available now. They are on birch wood and come with a rope like hanger. The are $10.00 and you can message me or they are on findlaygiftstore.com. I will be at the Hancock Co. Fair the first week of September with the Millstream Woodcarvers, so come in and see is if you are there.

My dad put together this puzzle in the late stages of Parkinson's. I said I would frame it but he lost the battle a couple of weeks later. I finished framing it today to give to my mom. I know most people do not frame puzzles but I am proud of this. I would love to do a craft show for giving money to this terrible disease, as it has affected not just me but other family members of the Millstream Wood Carvers. I will be working to put one together but must make sure the nonprofit and charity guidelines are legally good. So if not this fall by summer next year it will be in the works. Until then enjoy this frame that was done for my dad who fought for over twenty years.

The chess set pieces are now carved and painted. Time to make board.

I made two civil war pens that represent bullets from that time. The pen clip is a rifle. One pen has the confederate flag and the other pen has the 35 star flag. The pens were made by gluing all the pieces together for the flags. I then took some elm wood that had been in a barn for many years and made the case for the pens. You can still see the bug holes and trails in the elm. There are two soldiers burned on the pen case, one from the union and one from the confederate side. I am going to be at the Findlay Flea Market this Saturday and Sunday on May 9th and 10th. Saturday is from 9am till 4pm and Sunday is 9am till 3pm. I am working on this civil war pen set and all of the chess peices to the Halloween chess set are now carved and will be on display. Come on out to the Hancock County Fairgrounds this weekend and have some fun.
