Hi all! Well the packages have been sent, the cookies have been baked, & the decorations are almost all up so I'm Wishing you a MERRY CHRISTMAS, A HAPPY & PROSPEROUS 2019. I'm trying to get the shop set up between Physical Therapy treatments. I started around Thanksgiving & plan on being ready by May 15th 2019. In the meantime I will be working on this page with new items & photos. Patti T.

So often people do not know what "Chip Carving" is or how it is done. It is removing small "chips" of wood to form a shape or design. This design is known as a "Rose Compass". I use a single edge razor blade to get the very fine delicate cuts.

Did you know that Lake Co. has (2009 Census) approximately 295 employer businesses and over 800 "non - employer" or Mom/Pop businesses, yet whenever we hear about those in power wanting or pledging to help "small" businesses we never hear about any plans or programs for the smallest of the small. WHY? As a creator and operator of a Mom/Pop business for over 20 years I know the problems. My "Dream" from the time I was a single parent came true with the opening of Wildhurst Campground in 1973 & continues as a viable business today. My 2nd business "Creation" (Piget Cabincrafts)was when my Older ( now in their mid to upper 30's) grandkids were old enough to travel with me )n the MN.WI Vendor sales route. Now due to circumstances I have to adjust my operation. THINK OF YOUR VERY LOCAL SMALL MOM/POPS!
