🍎 From psychiatry to caramel apples, Ajanta Goswami is discovering a sweet new chapter at Conner Prairie!

After retiring and moving to Fishers to be closer to family, Ajanta joined the Conner Prairie Alliance this year as a way to meet new people. Now, she's learning the art of dipping apples, welcoming guests, and making wonderful friendships along the way! ❤️

🍎 The Apple Store season may be winding down, but there are a whole lot of friendships behind everything you see inside.

Pam Boyd’s kids basically grew up at Conner Prairie, and some of their favorite places were supported by the Conner Prairie Alliance. With friends already involved, joining the Alliance gave Pam another way to support a place her family loved.

And yes, there’s plenty of work involved. But according to Pam, there’s also a LOT of fun. ❤️

That combination of friendship, volunteering and giving back is what has kept The Apple Store tradition going year after year.

🍎 Different backgrounds. Different talents. One common cause.

After 22 years as a military spouse and a life filled with volunteering, Kathy Bergman joined the Conner Prairie Alliance in 2008 after returning to Indiana.

Eighteen years later, she keeps coming back.

For Kathy, the Alliance is about fundraising for Conner Prairie—but it’s also about fellowship, friendship and a group of women coming together to make a difference while having fun doing it.

As Kathy puts it, if you’re looking to meet people, give back and become part of something bigger, the Alliance is a pretty great place to start.

🍎 Every caramel apple, c***r slushie and fall find from The Apple Store helps do something bigger.

For 13 years, Ellen Mitchell has been part of the Conner Prairie Alliance—a group she describes as being filled with talented women who bring different experiences and skills to their work.

And every September and October, a lot of that work happens right here in The Apple Store.

The profits raised throughout the season are given back to Conner Prairie to help support projects across the grounds.
