Meet this week’s featured apple at the Apple Store! Sweet Maia is an early-season apple with a crisp bite and candy-like sweetness—a cross between Winecrisp and Honeycrisp. Perfect for snacking, salads or discovering a new favorite.

Each week, the Apple Store carries six varieties of fresh apples from Garwood Orchards in LaPorte, Indiana, giving you the chance to try apples you might not find at your local grocery store.

And yes, those fresh Garwood’s apples are also behind our famous hand-dipped caramel apples. 🍏

🍎✨ NOW DIPPING! The caramel is warm. The apples are ready. And one of our favorite signs of fall is officially back.

The Apple Store at Conner Prairie opens TODAY! 🍏

For more than 40 years, the Conner Prairie Alliance has made the Apple Store part of the fall tradition at Conner Prairie—from hand-dipping caramel apples to filling the shelves with seasonal treats, gifts and local favorites.

And every purchase has a purpose. The Apple Store is the Alliance’s primary fundraiser, with proceeds supporting Conner Prairie and helping bring projects like Promised Land as Proving Ground to life.

What a beautiful day for the Conner Prairie Alliance Spring Luncheon! ☀️ Today, Alliance members gathered at the Indianapolis Sailing Club for their annual Spring Luncheon and General Meeting, sharing updates on all things Alliance, the Apple Store, and the many Special Interest Groups that help make this community so special.

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with friendship, conversation, and excitement for the year ahead. We are grateful for the dedicated volunteers and supporters who help advance the mission of Conner Prairie through their time, talents, and enthusiasm.
