🕯 Celebration of Life 🕯 ~ Our deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers are with the Romero family, owners of Romero's Tuscany by the Sea after hearing the saddening news of the passing of their son Christian, on April 23, 2023.

Christian Romero was a beloved member of his community and his loss has been deeply felt by all who knew him. We are grateful for the opportunity to honor his life and legacy.

The family would like to invite all those who loved and knew Christian to gather together for a candle lighting ceremony in his honor. The event will take place on Thursday, April 27th at 6:00 pm on the beach in front of Romero’s Tuscany by the Sea restaurant in Flagler Beach, Fl. They ask that everyone wear something blue, as it was Christian's favorite color.

The ceremony will be a celebration of Christian's beautiful life, and the family hopes to see everyone there to join in remembering him. They will have some candles to share, but please bring your own as well to honor Christian.

In true Flagler fashion, we expect our community to show up in mass to support the Romero family and we kindly request that those that plan on attending the Celebration of Life, please carpool to assist with limited parking on A1A.

Convenient parking for the celebration of life will be available at the vacant lot across from Veterans Park; the future site of the new hotel (thanks to their management). There's also free City Parking lots located at 6th Street South and A1A, as well as 5th Street South and South Daytona Avenue.

Attention Flagler foodie groupies! Let's come together as a community to support Romero's Tuscany by the sea during this difficult time. Starting tomorrow, we'll be promoting a different restaurant every day for the next week. Each participating restaurant will be giving 10% of their sales for the day to the Romero family in memory of their son Christian's passing to support their restaurant and staff during their closure.

Please join us in showing your support by dining out at these participating restaurants and bars over the next week. Let's come together and give back to our fellow restaurant in need.

The McDonald's Changeables! Inarguably some of the best Happy Meal toys ever, this was a collection of robot warriors who transformed into McD's menu items. There were a few sets over the years, but these were from the first series in 1987.
