Today was a challenging day for us as we assisted Frosty in his passage across the rainbow bridge. He lived a long life, having survived an abusive owner until we intervened, and subsequently enjoyed his time with us, including many happy moments with our grandchildren. Nonetheless, his most significant battle was with Cancer, which was inoperable without the removal of the entire leg, with no assurance of success even with such a drastic measure. As a result, he has now begun his journey across the rainbow bridge.

Enjoyed a fantastic Memorial Day at the Detroit Zoo with my son, daughter-in-law, and the kids , and took some lovely photos at the butterfly garden and bird sanctuary.
