The 2023 season at Gillilan Family Maple officially ended today with the last boil of the season. It was a good year with over 28 gallons of sap per tap, and lots of amazing quality maple syrup. Great time shared with family and friends. Thank you to Chris Blais for all your work with us this year. Now the work to manage our woods and start making changes for 2024 begin. Watch for some exciting new things in the coming year.

A little old and a little new! A beautiful day in our wild working landscape.

The old sugar house in the background has a crazy amount of stories to tell. It served the Gillilan Family for about 100 years until we retired it in 2009. Five generations of the Gillilan Family enjoyed the springtime in that shack.

In the foreground our modern high performance tubing system. These systems allow us to improve production and at the same time reduce labor and damage to the woods from equipment during the muddy spring season.
